The Coach Curriculum is broken down into three elements; player connection, soccer knowledge and teaching ability. Each is important in it's own right, but only by having a mastery of all three can a coach be the most effective in the art of coaching.

Similar to the Player Curricula, the Coach Curriculum incorporates the building blocks into every practice. A Foundation Phase coach should incorporate all aspects of the Coach Curriculum into session's and this is the base from which everything else is built up. Having a great player connection makes inspiration that much easier. The greater the coach's soccer knowledge, the more expertise he can share with the players. Lastly, the ability to teach allows for environments where the players get lots of repetition and opportunities to learn.
